In 2015, we embarked on a major update of the Sunrise IPTV experience. Most views were thoroughly researched and revamped in some way. The most notable changes included a new home screen, a horizontal TV guide, updated broadcast details, a new player overlay and a restructured navigation template.
A new recommendation engine for at the time almost 250k users was also integrated into many views. To ensure a fast feedback and research loop with clients, testers, and developers, I created a JavaScript prototype. Additionally, later on, Sunrise underwent a slight rebranding which was also incorporated into the design.
